Russian propaganda in the Czech Republic

Russian propaganda in Czechia has been a significant concern, especially in the wake of the Russian full-scale war against Ukraine. Various pro-Russian media outlets and social media accounts have been actively spreading disinformation and biased narratives.

By amplifying controversial topics such as immigration, national identity, and economic disparities, propagandists seek to polarize public opinion and foster mistrust among citizens. Additionally, they often portray Russia as a defender against Western hegemony, appealing to those disillusioned with the EU and NATO.

The persistence and adaptability of Russian propaganda campaigns continue to pose a challenge, requiring ongoing vigilance and proactive measures. Thus, it is needed to understand what russian propaganda is based on to know how to tackle it.
